ACC Emerging Asia Cup 2023: Here is a look at the full schedule, teams, format and squads of the eight teams competing in the tournament to be held in Sri Lanka from July 13-23.

The fifth edition of the ACC Arising brigades Asia Cup will commence in Sri Lanka on Thursday.

The age- group event is making a return after four times. In the former edition held in Bangladesh, Pakistan surfaced victorious after beating the host in the final. Sri Lanka is the most successful side, having won consecutive titles in 2017 and 2018. India settled the initial edition of the event in 2013.

Eight brigades will contend in the event with the ‘ A ’ brigades of the full members of the Asian Cricket Council- India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan- joined by three brigades from the ACC Men’s Premier Cup- UAE A, Oman A and the Nepal public platoon.

The brigades will be resolve into two groups for round- robin clashes before the top two in each group do to the semifinal of the 50- over event. The only day- night match of the event will be the final which will be held at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on July 23.

India A: Sai Sudharsan, Abhishek Sharma (vc), Nikin Jose, Pradosh Ranjan Paul, Yash Dhull (c), Riyan Parag, Nishant Sindhu, Prabhsimran Singh (wk), Dhruv Jurel (wk), Manav Suthar, Yuvrajsinh Dodiya, Harshit Rana, Akash Singh, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Rajvardhan Hangargekar. Stand-bys: Harsh Dubey, Nehal Wadhera, Snell Patel, Mohit Redkar.
