Wolves boss Gary O’Neil said bad refereeing decisions were hurting his reputation and “people’s livelihoods” after his team was on the wrong end of more VAR controversy in their 3-2 defeat at Fulham.

Furious Wolves Master GaryO’Neil said bad refereeing opinions were hurting his character and” people’s livelihoods” after his platoon was on the wrong end of further VAR contestation in their 3- 2 Premier League defeat at Fulham on Monday. Willian scored two penalties– including a cessation-time winner– while Alex Iwobi’s early strike for Fulham was canceled out by Matheus Cunha and Wolves’ Hwang Hee-chan also netted from the spot.

But VAR was formerly again the talking point after an absorbing match at Craven Cottage.

Fulham started the match brightly and took a justified lead in the seventh nanosecond with a nicely worked thing down the left wing, finished by Iwobi.

The callers were level interior through the first half when Cunha headed home after foamy sect plays on the right by Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.

Adjudicator Michael Salisbury refocused to the penalty spot 10 twinkles into the alternate half, ruling that Nelson Semedo had fouled Tom Cairney in the box, even though the protector appeared to have got a touch on the ball.

Following a lengthy VAR check Willian stepped forward and rolled the ball to the goalkeeper’s left wing, adding to the pain for O’Neil, whose platoon has been on the wrong end of a torrent of controversial penalty opinions this season.

Wolves were awarded a spot-kick of their own when Tim Ream made a clumsy challenge on Hwang and the South Korean lashed home down the middle to pull his side position in the 75th nanosecond.

But there was still time for a third penalty of the half.

Salisbury had originally gestured away penalty claims when Joao Gomes and Harry Wilson came together in the dying twinkles but reversed his decision after VAR officers advised him to look at the pitchside examiner.

Willian made no mistake to seal the palm for Fulham in the 94th nanosecond.

An emotional Neil said Salisbury admitted he should have been advised to check the pitchside examiner for the first spot-kick, adding a torrent of big opinions had gone against his side.

“Nelson (Semedo) plays the ball and does not touch Tom Cairney,” he told Sky Sports.” The adjudicator says he felt that was wrong and that he should have been transferred to the examiner.

“That does not help me. So that bone has been enough much admit that it was a mistake. The Harry Wilson one we differ. I feel it was soft. For all four opinions to go against us is tough to take and we did not earn that.”

He said” bad refereeing opinions” were having a huge impact on brigades and directors.

“This is a big club,” he added.” The impact that you’re having on my character, the club, and people’s livelihoods is massive.

“We should be suitable to talk about the game and not opinions but unfortunately we can’t.”

He added” I’ve always been for VAR but I suppose it’s causing problems at the moment. I suppose VAR has brought us there. The fact that we’ve conceded two, for me VAR isn’t helping with private opinions. perhaps tonight has eventually turned me against VAR.”

Fulham master Marco Silva said his platoon had shown a” good winning spirit” to take three points for the first time since early October, lifting them 10 points clear of the deportation zone.

But he also questioned two of the penalty awards.

“The alternate( Fulham) one is a clear penalty,” he added.” The first for us and the bone for them were a bit more soft. I hope( VAR) can always make the right opinions because it’s their job.” Know More Latest Football News…
