First over, it’s Brazil and this isn’t a surprise as it’s one of the most dominant sides in world football. With 21 successive WC appearances and 109 matches played, the unheroic and blue squad sits at the top of the list.

Out of the 81 matches it has played, Argentina has won on 43 jaunts and has suffered 23 losses. It pulled out of World Mugs in 1938, 1950 and 1954 due to dissensions with hosting rights and political reasons.
Despite being a mecca for top football bents, Argentina has been unlucky in the history, as the last time a World Cup went into its jewel press was way back in 1978.
