IPL 2023 Man-of-the-Match Awards: Here is the full list of the top performers from each game of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League.

Mumbai Indians (MI) continued their winning instigation when they trounced the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by five lattices at the Wankhede Stadium before moment.

After being put to club first, Kolkata posted a slightly sub-par aggregate of 185 on a fur-friendly face in Mumbai. Venkatesh Iyer scored nearly 57 of his side’s runs as the left- hander indented up a luxurious demoiselle IPL hundred in just 49 balls.

Despite ending up on a losing side, Venkatesh Iyer was arbitrated the Player of the Match for his sheer brilliance with the club. The southpaw clobbered nine outsides and six fours in his awful innings of 104 from 51 balls.

MI’s regular commander Rohit Sharma missed the toss due to a stomach contagion. Suryakumar Yadav, the acting captain, called for Kolkata to club first after winning the toss.

While Mumbai did pick up an early gate in the form of Narayan Jagadeesan, the game was turned around by Venkatesh Iyer. The left- hander, who maundered at No 3, launched anything that fell into his bow and incontinently let his intentions know.

Venkatesh was the sole encouraging factor for the callers as the MI bowlers continued to pick up lattices from one end. In just 49 balls, he completed his first IPL century after taking 23 balls to reach fifty.

Hrithik Shokeen was the pick of the bowlers for MI, claiming career-stylish numbers of2/34.

Chasing 186, Ishan Kishan got off to a flier as he cracked five boundaries and as numerous lusty outsides to bring up a vital knock of 58 from just 25 balls.

Suryakumar’s 43 and Tilak Verma’s 30 took MI closer to the target before Tim David handed the finishing traces with his 24 * as the hosts cruised home with five lattices in hand.
