Google Reveals “Most Searched Cricketer, Athlete” In Its 25-Year History

Virat Kohli was named the ‘most searched cricketer’ by Google in its 25-year-long history.

In the cricketing macrocosm, the name Virat Kohli needs no preface. As the hunt machine mammoth’ Google’ released the list of utmost searched motifs in its entire 25- time-long history, the name Kohli popped at the top when it came to cricketers. Since Google started to live, some of the finest cricketers have been featured in the sporting macrocosm. The list includes players like Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, etc. But, it was Kohli who surfaced as the’ utmost searched cricketer’ in Google’s history.

When it came to the most searched athlete on the list, still, Kohli was not the man at the top. It was Real Madrid and Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo, who continues going strong indeed at the age of 38 at Saudia Arabian club Al- Nassr.

Cristiano Ronaldo also went on to master some of the biggest players in the game, especially his arch-rival Lionel Messi. The two have arguably been the finest players in the game in their generation, dominating the sport for about 15 times.

What is intriguing, still, is that indeed Kohli is a bigger addict of Ronaldo than he’s of Messi. In multiple interviews, the Indian justice star had revealed how important he admires the Portuguese footballer.
