Fazel Atrachali Named Captain Of Gujarat Giants For PKL Season 10

The Gujarat Giants have been finalists twice, in 2017 and 2018, and will be keen to join an elite group of teams by bagging the prestigious PKL title.

Gujarat titans blazoned Fazel Atrachali as the captain and Rohit Gulia asvice-captain ahead of the 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League. The platoon will be counseled by the educated Ram Mehar Singh.

The Gujarat titans have been finalists doubly, in 2017 and 2018, and will be keen to join an elite group of brigades by bagging the prestigious PKL title.

Co-incidentally, in the 2017 crusade, Fazel was part of the titans team that reached the final. The 31- time-old protector has been a two- time winner of the PKL and a three- time Asian Games quarterfinalist and will look to use all his experience at the loftiest position to lead the charge for the titans.

“In the PKL season 10, among all the players, Fazel is one of the most decorated players. I’ve worked with Fazel before, and he’s a great player, and in our mind, he was the egregious choice for the captaincy for Gujarat titans, ” said trainer Singh.

With the likes of Rakesh and Parteek Dahiya showing plenitude of pledge, and the return of Fazel, the Gujarat titans have a fair quantum of gift in its species.

Along with them, there are also the likes of Rohit and Sourav Gulia, Vikash Jaglan, Arkam Shaikh, GB More and the Iranian each- rounder Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh. With similar great gift and experience at their disposal, Gujarat will aim for a solid launch to the season.

Singh said that the platoon, which had been grounded out of New Delhi, has been doing everything possible to insure it peaks at the right time and is in form.

“Gujarat titans is a veritably big platoon, and it’s my pleasure to be back. I’m pleased to be leading the platoon, and in the team, we’ve a lot of youths. I know we all work well together, and as a captain that makes my job easier. And I’m happy about how effects are shaping up, ” said Atrachali.

The titans will begin its season with a game against Telegu elephants on 2nd December, which is the opening day of the event.

All the games in Ahmedabad will be played at The TransStadia. The 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League also marks a return to the caravan format after three times. Know More Latest Pro Kabaddi League News…
