Conte, who was signed by Spurs in November 2021, parted ways with the club after an underwhelming tenure at the North London club.
Antonio Conte has left his position as Tottenham director by collective agreement, the Premier League club said Sunday.
The Italian’s adjunct, Cristian Stellini, has been appointed acting head trainer for the rest of the season.
The advertisement comes just over a week after Conte delivered a post-match rant in which he indicted the platoon’s players of being “ selfish ” and also took end at the club’s power.
“We’ve 10 Premier League games remaining and we’ve a fight on our hands for a titleholders League place, ” Tottenham president Daniel Levy said in a club statement released Sunday night. “ We all need to pull together. Everyone has to step up to insure the loftiest possible finish for our Club and amazing, pious sympathizers. ”
Conte was in charge of Tottenham for 16 months but was unfit to end its jewel failure stretching back to 2008.
His term ended in an undignified way, with his outburst after the 3- 3 draw at Southampton making his departure nearly ineluctable. His contract was due to expire at the end of the season.
The 53- time-old Conte tore into his players for what he perceived to be a poor station, criminating them of not playing as a platoon and failing to deal with pressure, before saying “ 20 times there’s the( same) proprietor and they no way won commodity. ”
After days of enterprise about his future, Tottenham verified his exit.
“We can advertise that Head Coach Antonio Conte has left the Club by collective agreement, ” the London club said in its statement. “ We achieved titleholders League qualification in Antonio’s first season at the Club. We thank Antonio for his donation and wish him well for the future. ”
Conte leaves with Tottenham out of the titleholders League and FA Mug, icing it’ll not win any flatware this season. But the platoon is in fourth place in the league and in contention to qualify for the titleholders League again coming season.
Tottenham appointed former Chelsea director Conte as the relief for Nuno Espirito Santo in November 2021, with the club in eighth place. He succeeded in guiding it to a top- four finish.
Tottenham spent about$ 140 million since his appearance, including$73.5 million on Brazil forward Richarlison. The most recent signing was Pedro Porro, a sect back bought because he suits Conte’s ideal 3-4-3 conformation.

Stellini led Tottenham’s first platoon while Conte was recovering from his recent surgery, which included the loss to alternate- league Sheffield United in the FA Cup.
