Pant has been moved to a private hospital in Dehradun for treatment. The exact nature of his injuries is still unknown.
Indian justice platoon’s wicketkeeper and batsman Rishabh Pant met with an accident after his auto hit the separator near Manglore police station in Roorkee on Friday morning. Pant suffered injuries in his leg and head and is being moved to a private sanitarium in Dehradun for treatment.
Elderly supervisor of Police( SSP), Haridwar, Mr. Ajay Singh, told Sportstar that Pant’s Mercedes Benz auto hit the separator and caught fire. The accident took place around 530 am.
“It was miraculous escape as he managed to get out of the auto on his own as the window panes of the vehicle were smashed after hitting the separator. Some passer- by held him, and police rushed at the spot, ” said the SSP. The auto caught fire in twinkles after the accident, said the functionary.
The BCCI in a statement latterly stated “ India gate- keeper Rishabh Pant met with a auto accident beforehand on Friday morning near Roorkee, Uttarakhand. He was admitted to Saksham Hospital Multispecialty and Trauma Centre, where he was treated for impact injuries.
Rishabh has two cuts on his forepart, a ligament gash in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered bruise injuries on his reverse. Rishabh’s condition remains stable, and he has now been shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun, where he’ll suffer MRI reviews to ascertain the extent of his injuries and formulate his further course of treatment.
CT checkup reports of Pant’s brain and spinal cord was latterly reported to have returned “ normal ”.
